Welcome to another great year in music at Hartley! My name is Sara Dizney and I'm so happy to be your music teacher!
This is my 20th year teaching elementary music. I have taught in Manatee County, and at Webster, RB Hunt and Ponte Vedra Palm Valley Elementaries in St Johns County. I have a Bachelor's degree from Florida State where I was a flute major. I am not related to "THE Disney family" but I did work at Disney World for seveal years, performing in the holiday shows!
I have an Orff background and Level One certification. I am enjoying getting to know your fabulous kids! Soon you will be hearing about the after school music groups I will be offering for 4th and 5th graders!
Your children are awesome! I look forward to making music class a time of enrichment; a favorite part of each week and an important part of this great school!
